 This photo shows Tom Price with full head dress. He was the last Chief of Ninstints before the village was abandoned due to an unfortunate outbreak of smallpox. He survived the epidemic and moved to Skidegate with his family and became an accomplished carver and artist.

Judi plans on using this Chief as her first subject matter in her new series which will be entitled PEOPLES OF THE NORTH
