 FRAMING

"Guardian of the Past" by Judi Wild

Over 300 hours of painting & research went into the making of this detailed painting. It is the fifth  in a series of 7.
"I used antique black & white photos dating back as far as 1901 for part of my reference material" This particular pole is still in the ancient village, although it has now fallen and has gathered a soft coat of moss. It is the same pole that I have used for my subject matter in Ancient Souls. There are 3 photos that you can look at - each taken at a different time in history. 1901, 1947, and a more recent one in 1997.
